MLA Colin Piquette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and an MA in Adult Education from the University of Alberta. His experience and history in political and public service organizations goes back over thirty years to the time his father, Leo Piquette, was elected as an MLA for the area.
In addition to broad experience in public interest organizations MLA Piquette has travelled and taught ESL and taught ethics and law at the University of Alberta.
In addition to his role as MLA for Athabasca-Sturgeon-Redwater he is a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services and the Standing Committee on Alberta's Economic Future.
MLA Piquette resides in Boyle with his family.
